In my opinion; no, and I don’t think that they ever will be. This is for many reasons. First of all, the screen size would have to be very small for it to be viable, at the most four inches. The small screen size would make it not realistic to have it as a primary computer, because a four inch screen won’t give you very much productivity. Imagine trying to browse the non-mobile version of a website on a four inch screen, impossible! Also, a wearable computer would be bulky, get hot, and it would be too small, that is the main issue. Also, smartphones are pretty much wearable computers which you keep in your pocket, and who really needs a computer attached to them anyway? People don’t want to carry extra devices, they want everything in one device. That is why even if wearable computers are someday introduced to the market, people will not buy them. People will just continue to use their smartphones, which will continue to get even more like computers than they already are.
