Devotec has released its new Solar Sound Bluetooth speaker system. It is solar powered and has 2 2 watt speakers. This is one of the first solar powered speaker systems on the market but definitely not the last. The Solar Sound system also features Bluetooth connectivity to any Bluetooth phone or MP3 player supporting A2DP stereo Bluetooth playback, which is available on most Bluetooth devices. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack for all of your non-Bluetooth devices like iPods and lower end MP3 players. Another great feature on the Solar Sound system is that it has a built-in microphone for hands-free communication when it is paired with a Bluetooth enabled phone. It has a battery life of 8 hours of continuous play and charges in 12-24 hours from the solar panel. You can also charge it via AC or USB for 4 hours. The Solar Sound system also has a built-in touch screen for controlling your music right from the system. It measures at 16.5 x 5.5 x 5.5 centimeters and weighs about 260g.
