Today Sony announced two new Handycam camcorders, the 32GB HDR-CX520V and 64GB HDR-CX500V. They capture at full 1920x1080 high definition video and 12 megapixel photos on the 32GB or 64GB internal flash memory. This means up to 25 hours of HD video. Some other features are Optical SteadyShot with active mode and 3-Way Shake Canceling. Face Touch allows you to point at faces and prioritize the focus order. The built-in CMOS sensor will provide great low-light performance. The camcorders' built-in GPS receiver will geotag your photos. They also automatically convert content to 60 progressive frames per second. The only difference between the two cameras is the built in flash memory. The HDR-CX500V and HDR-CX520V are great cameras for everyday people and advanced photographers. The HDR-CX500V and HDR-CX520V will be available September for $1,100 and $1,300.
