If you are one of those Verizon user who really wants a Palm Pre or Pixi you are in luck. Palm is releasing versions of the Pre and Pixi for Verizon on January 25th. They will be changes the names for the Verizon devices to the Palm Pre Plus and the Palm Pixi Plus. There are also some changes in the specifications. The Palm Pre Plus gets some minor design changes which is good and 3D gaming will also be introduced. The built in memory is also bumped up to 16 GB. The Palm Pixi gets some major changes with built-in WiFi. Both devices will also be getting video recording which was not available before with a software update and you will also be able to use the Pre Plus and the Pixi Plus as a mobile WiFi hotspot for up to 5 devices, but you will have to get a plan. Pricing hasn't been announced yet but these are 2 great phones for Verizon's lineup.
