Toshiba's Mini NB305 netbook is just another netbook in a market of thousands. It has great specifications and is made by Toshiba, a great brand, which slightly distinguishes it from its competitors. The Mini NB305 features and Intel Atom N450 processor with a clock speed of 1.66 GHz. It runs Windows XP home edition and has integrated graphics. It also has 1 GB of memory and a 160 GB hard drive. The 10.1 inch widescreen display with a resolution of 1024x600 is great for watching videos and doing all kinds of tasks but it is too big for a netbook yet too small for a laptop. The NB305 also has built in speakers, a built in webcam and microphone, wireless 802.11n, a memory card reader, and 3 USB ports. It also has the standard headphone and microphone jacks. Toshiba rates the battery life at 11 hours which is amazing but in other reviews of the Mini NB305 the battery life is ranked at 6 hours and 30 minutes of video playback and 8 hours of web browsing. This isn't even close to Toshiba's 11 hours but 6 hours of videos is enough for the average user and 8 hours of web browsing is great. Another cool feature is that the touchpad has multitouch. In terms of size and weight the Mini NB305 weighs 2.6 pounds and about 1.5 inches thin. In pictures it looks great. The Toshiba Mini N3B305 is available now for about $350. Its a great netbook but doesn't really differ from other netbooks in terms of features.
