Those XBox Live Gold subscribers out there might want to renew their subscriptions soon, as a price increase is coming. According to a recent post on Major Nelson's blog, a price increase to XBox Live Gold will be coming on November first. After 8 years of constant XBox Live pricing there will finally be a price hike. The $50 XBox Live Gold yearly subscription will be going from $50 to $60, the three month subscription will be going from $20 to $25, and last but not least the one month subscription will be going for $10 versus the current $8. These price hikes aren't major, but that doesn't mean that they are going unnoticed. Microsoft is also running a deal right now which will allow you to lock in your rate for a year for just $40, which is less than both the new and old rates. For more info visit their deal website.
