Are higher price headphones such as Beats by Dre worth the higher price?

It depends on what you are going to be using the headphones for. If you are just using them as a consumer for listening to music, movies, and other media, then they are most likely not worth it. The sound quality will probably not be much different than if you buy the cheapest headphones available at Walmart. The online reviews for Beats by Dre headphones also aren’t that good, or at least not better than many other headphones. With Beats by Dre headphones and many other higher price headphones you are pretty much paying for the brand name. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend buying overly expensive headphones; draw the line at $50 or less.
